LEONIDS REPORT NOV 18 2000
I think many of us would have traded your warm beds for the Nov cold
considering the show. I t wasn't bad, but it wasn't spectacular.
If you lived in the eastern part of the United States at around 3am
you were enjoying the peak which averaged in the low 30's per hour.
Those of us observing on the west coast just missed it as the radiant
is just rising. I did see an email from a pair in Oregon who appeared
to have caught the last half hour. So right place at right time helped
here. Guess one shouldn't assume defeat just because the radiant hasn't risen yet.
